Spoonful’s gluten-free scanner identifies gluten- or possible gluten-containing ingredients in packaged food products. We display scan results in a simple green / yellow / red system, so you can quickly get the advice you need.
Green: This product is likely gluten free as we did not detect any gluten-containing ingredients or ingredients that pose a high risk for cross-contamination.
Yellow (US only): This product may contain gluten. You’ll want to tap on the highlighted ingredient to learn more.Yellow (Non-US): This product has no natural gluten-containing ingredients, but there are ingredients present that pose a high risk of cross-contamination.
Red: This product contains gluten. We will highlight gluten-containing ingredient in red, so they are easy to decipher.
Some of the green products you scan have different messages underneath. These messages take into account things like gluten-free claims and third party certifications to give you that extra level of confidence when choosing a product.
