What is a Dairy Free diet?

A dairy-free diet eliminates all foods made from or containing milk and milk-derived ingredients, such as butter, cheese, yogurt, and cream. It's essential for people with lactose intolerance, milk allergies, or those who prefer plant-based alternatives. Common dairy substitutes include almond, soy, oat, and coconut-based milks and cheeses. While dairy is a major source of calcium and vitamin D, these nutrients can be replaced through fortified foods or supplements. Many people find going dairy-free helps reduce digestive issues, acne, or inflammation, but balance and proper nutrient intake remain key for long-term health.

Good flour for some baking

It doesn't quite work as well for pie crust, homemade sandwich bread, or even dinner rolls. You're better off with the King Arthur bread flour for the yeasty stuff and for a pie crust, any GF blend that has tapioca starch as one of the first ingredients means it won't fall apart on you!

Best GF FLOUR

This is the best Gf flour I’ve come across. I bake a lot and my family was discouraged when I had to go GF as they thought I wouldn’t bake anymore or things wouldn’t taste good. Well, this flour is great! No one in my family can tell when I use this or regular all purpose flour.

Consistent Good Results

I’ve tried several gluten free flours, but some produce grainy or mixed results. The folks at King Arthur do a great job of blending & testing their output, & providing recipes that work. Will continue to be my fav.
