What is a Alpha-Gal diet?
An Alpha-Gal diet eliminates mammalian meat and products containing mammalian-derived ingredients to prevent allergic reactions in people with alpha-gal syndrome. This includes beef, pork, lamb, dairy products, gelatin, and certain medications derived from mammals. The condition involves a specific sugar molecule found in most mammals, often triggered after a tick bite. People may experience delayed allergic reactions 3-6 hours after consuming trigger foods. The diet focuses on safe alternatives like poultry, fish, and plant-based proteins. When followed carefully, often with guidance from an allergist or dietitian, it can prevent serious reactions while maintaining adequate nutrition.
Reviews
Good toasted!
Great for a small sandwich! Tastes so good toasted!
The best it gets
This is as good as I've had for GF bread. It tastes almost normal and has a somewhat ok texture
Ciabatta Is The Best
So versatile-sandwiches, burgers, egg sandwiches! Your favorite sandwich roll!
Better than the hotdog rolls
A bit dry so I wrapped in plastic wrap and microwaved 30 second till moist then toasted for 2 minutes The outside got firm just like a Ciabatta. Only issue is it’s a bit flat so cut carefully. Remember times are based on my micro and toaster oven.
