What is a Low FODMAP diet?

A Low FODMAP diet limits foods high in certain short-chain carbohydrates (FODMAPs) that can be poorly absorbed in the gut. These include specific sugars found in foods like onions, garlic, beans, apples, and wheat. It's commonly followed by people with irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) or other digestive sensitivities to reduce bloating, gas, and discomfort. The diet typically involves an elimination phase, followed by gradual reintroduction to identify personal triggers. When followed carefully, often with a dietitian's guidance, a Low FODMAP diet can help manage symptoms while maintaining a balanced and varied intake of nutrients.

Favorite Bread!

This bread is slightly sweet and has a darker crust. I prefer to toast it. My favorite thing is to butter it and sprinkle with salt. Yummy.

Tough bread

Typical tough gluten-free bread. Only edible when lightly toasted. Doesn't make good cold sandwich. Certainly doesn't earn the name Hawaiian bread.

Delicious

The slices are small but just the right thickness for a good sandwich. I'm glad I found another brand that tastes good but it is pricey.

Delicious

The bread is very expensive and not very big, the slices are about the size of the palm of my hand. However the taste was great and it wasn't very dry or crumblely.
