What is a Alpha-Gal diet?

An Alpha-Gal diet eliminates mammalian meat and products containing mammalian-derived ingredients to prevent allergic reactions in people with alpha-gal syndrome. This includes beef, pork, lamb, dairy products, gelatin, and certain medications derived from mammals. The condition involves a specific sugar molecule found in most mammals, often triggered after a tick bite. People may experience delayed allergic reactions 3-6 hours after consuming trigger foods. The diet focuses on safe alternatives like poultry, fish, and plant-based proteins. When followed carefully, often with guidance from an allergist or dietitian, it can prevent serious reactions while maintaining adequate nutrition.

Seriously Amazing Pizza

This frozen pizza is amazing - you would never know it’s gluten free or that there isn’t any onion or garlic in the sauce. This is one of the best frozen pizzas I have had. Plus I like loading it up with my favorite toppings before popping it into the oven.

Eating too much of this

It’s so good. Has a high cheese to sauce ratio. So if you like a saucy pizza it’s probably not for you.

Not very good

I had high hopes since it’s the only low FODMAP pizza I could find, but I wouldn’t buy it again. The crust is delicious, but the cheese was too thick & the sauce wasn’t tasty (maybe I’m used to slightly sweeter pizza sauces).
