What is a Low FODMAP diet?
A Low FODMAP diet limits foods high in certain short-chain carbohydrates (FODMAPs) that can be poorly absorbed in the gut. These include specific sugars found in foods like onions, garlic, beans, apples, and wheat. It's commonly followed by people with irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) or other digestive sensitivities to reduce bloating, gas, and discomfort. The diet typically involves an elimination phase, followed by gradual reintroduction to identify personal triggers. When followed carefully, often with a dietitian's guidance, a Low FODMAP diet can help manage symptoms while maintaining a balanced and varied intake of nutrients.

Pasta sauce
My 17 year old daughter is on the fodmap diet. My daughter gave this sauce 5 stars! I used a gluten free pasta with ground turkey with the sauce. My daughter was so excited that it tasted good and did NOT hurt or upset her stomach at all!

Surprised
I was so surprised that a sauce without garlic or onion could be so good. I made a meat sauce with it and put it over spaghetti squash. I also added a can of drained diced tomatoes to stretch it farther and give it a thicker consistency.
