What is a Gluten Free diet?
A gluten-free diet excludes all foods containing gluten, a protein found in wheat, barley, rye, and their derivatives. It's essential for people with celiac disease, gluten intolerance, or wheat allergy, as consuming gluten can trigger inflammation and digestive issues. Common gluten-containing foods include bread, pasta, cereals, and baked goods, though many gluten-free alternatives now exist using rice, corn, or almond flour. Beyond medical necessity, some people choose a gluten-free lifestyle for perceived health benefits, though experts emphasize the importance of maintaining a balanced diet rich in fiber, vitamins, and minerals when eliminating gluten-containing grains.

Kitchen staple
🔥I grew up on this stuff. It’s always in my fridge. I put it on everything. 🍜 It’s a must in every Asian house. 🪭

This is not low-FODMAP
Ingredients contain garlic....
Am a big fan!
Love adding this to plain rice.

No Bueno
Between the garlic and sulfites, Sriracha is not for me. Even my husband who does eat garlic and spicy, doesn’t like the flavor blend of Sriracha, preferring blends we get here in the southwest and at our Asian grocery. I can tolerate some brands of Sambal Oelek (fresh ground chili paste), but I have to watch the sulfites. Side note, I have driven by the Huy Fong factory in California.
Why Is This ok? The 4th Ingredient Is Garlic.
Garlic!
