What is a Low FODMAP diet?

A Low FODMAP diet limits foods high in certain short-chain carbohydrates (FODMAPs) that can be poorly absorbed in the gut. These include specific sugars found in foods like onions, garlic, beans, apples, and wheat. It's commonly followed by people with irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) or other digestive sensitivities to reduce bloating, gas, and discomfort. The diet typically involves an elimination phase, followed by gradual reintroduction to identify personal triggers. When followed carefully, often with a dietitian's guidance, a Low FODMAP diet can help manage symptoms while maintaining a balanced and varied intake of nutrients.

Sure, they're gluten free

Y'know how some people insist their thing cures all that ails everyone? Like GF? It is that but not low FODMAP. You're all smart enough to see it right away and I hope you never encounter know-it-alls who can't see past the words GF or decide we all need low salt because she needs low salt. When you're settled in your gut a half serve (11 crackers) might be a tasty treat & interesting texture. They're good served alongside food to appreciate a foray into rare flavors.
