What is a Low FODMAP diet?

A Low FODMAP diet limits foods high in certain short-chain carbohydrates (FODMAPs) that can be poorly absorbed in the gut. These include specific sugars found in foods like onions, garlic, beans, apples, and wheat. It's commonly followed by people with irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) or other digestive sensitivities to reduce bloating, gas, and discomfort. The diet typically involves an elimination phase, followed by gradual reintroduction to identify personal triggers. When followed carefully, often with a dietitian's guidance, a Low FODMAP diet can help manage symptoms while maintaining a balanced and varied intake of nutrients.

Favorite GF Pasta

This is my preference for GF pasta. It's made with brown rice, which is higher in fiber than white rice. The pasta is crafted in Italy, and it cooks and tastes like regular pasta. They make several different shapes, including elbows, shells, fusilli, caserecce, farfalle, capellini, tagliatelle, penne, lasagna, fettuccini, spaghetti and manicotti They also make crushed, diced and peeled tomatoes in jars as well as beans. When you shop their website they offer discounts sometimes.

Jovial Pasta

This is pretty good and tastes very similar to regular pasta. But you do have to cook it almost twice as long. Unless you want it to be like a stick and not bend at all. But it’s quite delicious.
