What is a Low FODMAP diet?

A Low FODMAP diet limits foods high in certain short-chain carbohydrates (FODMAPs) that can be poorly absorbed in the gut. These include specific sugars found in foods like onions, garlic, beans, apples, and wheat. It's commonly followed by people with irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) or other digestive sensitivities to reduce bloating, gas, and discomfort. The diet typically involves an elimination phase, followed by gradual reintroduction to identify personal triggers. When followed carefully, often with a dietitian's guidance, a Low FODMAP diet can help manage symptoms while maintaining a balanced and varied intake of nutrients.

Not bad

These are pretty tasty, similar to a saltine cracker in texture but close to a clubhouse or ritz cracker with the buttery flavor.

Good Crackers

Finding good low FODMAP Gluten Free crackers was a struggle for me - especially when it meant avoiding garlic. But I hit the jackpot when I discovered the crackers from Schar. Like most of their products, it’s more expensive than other gluten free crackers but it is definitely worth the money. These crackers are good. Not a perfect knockoff of regular table crackers - but good nonetheless. Their entertainment crackers are hands down my favorite though.

Great taste!

These taste amazing. The salt level is just right. I initially thought they would be like any other saltine cracker, but I was mistaken. Glad I came across these!

Next best thing

These are nice tasting crackers. A bit in the delicate side, but are great when you’re in the mood for a cracker.
