What is a Low FODMAP diet?
A Low FODMAP diet limits foods high in certain short-chain carbohydrates (FODMAPs) that can be poorly absorbed in the gut. These include specific sugars found in foods like onions, garlic, beans, apples, and wheat. It's commonly followed by people with irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) or other digestive sensitivities to reduce bloating, gas, and discomfort. The diet typically involves an elimination phase, followed by gradual reintroduction to identify personal triggers. When followed carefully, often with a dietitian's guidance, a Low FODMAP diet can help manage symptoms while maintaining a balanced and varied intake of nutrients.
Reviews
Pretty good
As far as gluten free snacks go, these are pretty good
Versatile & good taste
A good alternative, salty snack. I like to crush them up and spread the smaller pieces over my salad. They also go great with Skippy’s natural peanut butter. Would rate these a 5 if they offered more in the package.
Delish
A little grittier than the rice crackers but just as delicious. Not so plain. I eat them with tuna or with olives, or both together! They are great for dipping.
An alternative to rice crackers
These are crunchy, salty and almost like a chip.— smaller than most crackers. They go well with Brie and grapes or just about anything. Always happy for some variety.
Nice & Crunchy
I’ve been eating the Good Thins rice crackers for awhile & really wanted something different. These fill the bill & are a good complement to soups or with tuna or other salad. Yep, they are a bit pricy for the quantity, but so is everything gluten free or FODMAP friendly.
