Is Catalase Gluten Free?

Catalase is an enzyme that catalyzes the decomposition of hydrogen peroxide into water and oxygen. It is found in nearly all living organisms exposed to oxygen, including bacteria, plants, and animals. In the food industry, catalase is often used to remove hydrogen peroxide from milk prior to cheese production and in other processes where hydrogen peroxide is used as a sterilizing agent.
