What is a Low FODMAP diet?
A Low FODMAP diet limits foods high in certain short-chain carbohydrates (FODMAPs) that can be poorly absorbed in the gut. These include specific sugars found in foods like onions, garlic, beans, apples, and wheat. It's commonly followed by people with irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) or other digestive sensitivities to reduce bloating, gas, and discomfort. The diet typically involves an elimination phase, followed by gradual reintroduction to identify personal triggers. When followed carefully, often with a dietitian's guidance, a Low FODMAP diet can help manage symptoms while maintaining a balanced and varied intake of nutrients.

Not the best taste, but it’s good enough to enjoy. Plus it’s dairy free- gluten free which makes me a happy person.
Expensive, good Ingredients, Taste Iffy
I first tried this Vanilla flavored Owyn drink. While I greatly appreciate the ingredients for my current diet, I also expected the taste to be a bit sweeter, especially for the higher price point. I have since tried Chocolate & “Cookies + Creamless” flavors of Owyn, but even adding organic stevia to the latter flavor did not cancel out the seeming underlying bitterness of the drink. I might try the Vanilla flavor again though!

Taste really good, no issues
These taste like they should be horrible for you but actually are really low calorie and sugar. They say they are low fodmap and did some research and even the new ones are, but they didn't want to pay for certification anymore. Been really sick lately and this is the only go to drink I can use for sustaining me without a huge issue of IBS flare ups.

My saving grace
I suffer from Viceral Hypersensitivity and this is my go to for protein/calories. It does have an odd playdoh type taste. But I have learned to like it.
